At age 18 he enlisted in West Chester, PA on 24 July 1862 and mustered into service as a Private in Company G, 124th Pennsylvania Infantry on 12 August at Harrisburg.

On the Campaign

He was reported missing in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862 with no later military record.

He may have been George Connor (c.1841-1911), son of Banner and Catherine McCorkle Connor of Newlin, Chester County, PA.
