Captured at Weldon Railroad, VA 18 August 1864. Paroled at Baltimore, MD and transferred to James River, VA for exchange in February 1865. Admitted to General Hospital at Howard s Grove, Richmond, VA 1 March 1865, and furloughed therefrom for 30 days 6 March 1865.
