Admitted to Wayside Hospital (General Hospital #9) October 1, 1862, then Chimborazo #3 on the 2nd, both in Richmond, Virginia. He was furloughed on the 10th. He was "absent, wounded" to February 1863, then "absent without leave" at least to the end of 1864.
