Before the Antietam Campaign:

In the Antietam Campaign:
He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862 at Antietam.

The remainder of the War:
He was detached to the Signal Corps, dates not given. He mustered out on 1 July 1864 at the expiration of his term of service.
