Basic information from State of Alabama1, which has him as Robert J. Andrews. His gravesite is on Findagrave; he shares a stone with his brother Warren G. Andrews (1842-1862), who also died in uniform. They may be sons of the Reverend Athelstan Andrews (1806-1892), pastor of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville.
