On the Campaign

He was slightly wounded in the groin in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He transferred to Company A on 12 June 1863, and to Company F in January or February 1864. He was transferred to the Veteran Reserve Corps, date not given, and mustered out with a detachment of the 69th on 13 September 1864 near Petersburg, VA.
