On the Campaign

He was captured in action at Fox's Gap on South Mountain, MD on 14 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was exchanged in October 1862 and wounded and captured at Gettysburg, PA in July 1863. He was exchanged in August 1863 and furloughed home. He was listed as absent without leave by August 1864 with no further record.
