On the Campaign

He was wounded in the right leg in action at Fox's Gap on South Mountain, MD on 14 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was absent wounded, then sick, on records to January 1865.

After the War

He moved to Winston County, AL in 1880 and was there to at least 1907. He went to Tennessee, date not known. He received veteran's pensions in Alabama and Tennessee, respectively.
