William J. Holliday

An unmarried 21 year old in Livingston Parish, he enlisted as Private, Company K, 7th Louisiana Infantry at Camp Moore, LA on 7 June 1861. He was wounded by a gunshot to his head at Port Republic, VA on 9 June 1862 and returned to duty in August.

He was in action at Harpers Ferry on 14-15 September and killed at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.
