Before Sharpsburg

In 1860 he was a 17 year old farm hand on his parent's place at Cuthbert in Randolph County, GA. He enlisted as a Private in Company E, 13th Georgia Infantry on 5 August 1861 in Richmond, VA.

On the Campaign

He was mortally wounded in action at Sharpsburg, MD on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He died of wounds at Winchester, VA on 10 October 1862. His father T.J. [Thomas James] Robinson filed for his final pay of $89.66 in April 1863.
