Basic information from McLernon1. Age 29 at enlistment in August 1861. Captured in action on 14 October 1863 at Bristoe Station, Virginia. He died of disease on 5 March 1864, at Anderson- ville, Ga. Dorence Atwater, A List of Prisoners Who Died at Andersonville, states that he died of pneumonia. He is buried in Andersonville National Cemetery, Grave Number 10.
