Wounded in action, wrist, on 17 September 1862.

The remainder of the War:
Transferred to Company A on June 12, 1863. Captured in action on July 2, 1863, at Gettysburg, Pa. He died of disease on December 1, 1863, at Hospital No. 21, Richmond, Va.
