No such soldier is found in the NY State Adjutant-Generals 1899 report. Basic information here from the Antietam Cemetery History1, which also says "may be Adophe Bader [Adolphe Bador] of Co. D". Bador was wounded at Malvern Hill, VA in July and discharged for disability at Baltimore on 31 December 1862, presumably still alive.
