He may have been wounded on the Maryland Campaign of September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was listed on the Company morning report for 1 November 1862 as present and counted as fit for duty, but he died in Frederick, MD on 10 November 1862. He was reinterred from his original burial in Frederick to the National Cemetery in about 1867.
