References & notes

Burial information from Pruett1, who lists him as Lieutenant J.B. O'Neale. Military data and wound information from Salley2. who also says he survived to lose a leg in action at Chickamauga, GA in September 1863 and was promoted to Captain 7 October 1863. One of our references is wrong.

Death

Date not known; Hagerstown, MD; burial in Washington Confederate Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD
