In the Antietam Campaign:
Possibly present on the Maryland Campaign of 1862.

The remainder of the War:
Wounded at Monocacy, Maryland July 9, 1864. Died of wounds July 11, 1864. Originally buried "on west side of cemetery at Frederick." Probably reinterred at Hagerstown in about 1874.
