Listed only as "Lt. Geiger" by the Official Records, this individual is not well known. No Field, Staff, or Company Officers are identified as "Geiger" in the rosters. There was a Private Henry C. Geiger, Company E, on the rolls of the 2nd Florida Regiment, but there is no mention of his receiving a commission.
