Captured at Fisher's Hill, Virginia September 22, 1864. Paroled at Point Lookout, Maryland November 1864. Received at Venus Point, Savannah River, Georgia for exchange, November 15, 1864. Absent without leave in Monroe County, Georgia February 28, 1865. No later record. Pension records show he was sent to hospital, sick, March 15, 1865.
