Paroled at Fort Delaware, Del. and transferred to Aiken's Landing, Va. Oct. 2, 1862. Exchanged Nov. 10, 1862. Appointed 1st Corporal in 1863. Wounded at Spotsylvania, Va. May 10, 1864. Died of wounds in 2d Corps Hospital May 16, 1864
