On the Sharpsburg Campaign

The Brigade was very small on the Maryland Campaign: about 300 men present on South Mountain on 14 September and as few as 82 at Sharpsburg on the 17th, where they were consolidated as one "regiment" and attached to Pryor's Brigade.1
