In the Antietam Campaign: Capt Macon, the battery commander, was with a detachment of the two 10-lb. Parrot Rifles at Bolivar Heights, and Lt Clopton was in command of the battery at Crampton's Gap (Sept 14) and Sharpsburg (Sept 17).
