On the Sharpsburg Campaign

Like the rest of Thomas' Brigade, the 14th Georgia was at Harpers Ferry 15-16 September 1862, though in reserve and not actively engaged there, and remained behind while the rest of the division went to Sharpsburg early on the 17th. They rejoined the army at Shepherdstown on September 19 and were in action there on the 20th.
