Agee 33, from Canaan, MS, he was commissioned Captain, Company K, 18th Mississippi Infantry on 22 April 1861. He was elected Major on 26 April 1862 at the reorganization.

On the Campaign

He was in command of the Regiment as it reached the field at Sharpsburg on 17 September and was seriously wounded in combat there.

The rest of the War

He was mortally wounded in action at Chancellorsville, VA on 3 May 1863 and died two days later.
