Before Antietam

A 23 year old laborer in Monroe County, he enlisted on 9 June 1861 in Stroudsburg, and mustered as Private, Company F, 4th Pennsylvania Reserves on 17 July in Harrisburg.

On the Campaign

He was killed in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.
