Present in the following engagements; Rappahannock Sta., Aug. 23rd, 1862; Manassas, Va., Aug. 29th; Sharpsburg, Md., Sept. 15th, 16th and 17th; Fredericksburg, Dec. 13th, 1862; Fredericksburg or Chancellorsville, May 3rd, 1863; Gettysburg, Pa., July 3rd; Williamsport, Md., July 6th: Kingsland Creek, May 13th, 1864; Drewery's Bluff, May 14th and 15th; Petersburg, Va., June, 1864, July, 1864; September, 1864; Oct., 1864, Nov., 1864, Dec., 1864, Jan. and Feb., 1865. He was paroled at Lynchburg, Va., April 13th, 1865.
