Before Sharpsburg
A 21 year old laborer in Livingston, LA, he enlisted in Company K, 7th Louisiana Infantry at Camp Moore, La. on June 7th, 1861. In November and December 1861 he was absent in Hospital sick, at Front Royal, VA.
On the Campaign
He was killed in action on 17 September 1862 at Sharpsburg.
