The rest of the War

Forwarded to Fort McHenry, MD on Oct. 14th, 1862. Paroled and sent to Aiken's Landing, VA for exchange on Oct. 19th, 1862. Declared exchanged at Aiken's Landing on Nov. 10th, 1862. He lost his right arm. He was absent from his unit into February 1863, then declared "disabled for life" and located west of the Mississippi River.
