Basic information from Henderson1, who lists him as Private Leonidas Catchins. His service jacket at the National Archives has him as Leonidas Catching, Sergeant, enlisted in September 1861 and killed near Richmond in June 1862. Further detail from family genealogists, who spell it Catchings.
