He was held at Fort McHenry, until sent to Fortress Monroe, VA on 13 October. Exchanged. He was at Chimorazo Hospital #4 in Richmond in October and November 1862. Captured at Morton's Ford, Virginia, February 6, 1864. He was held at the Old Capitol Prison, Washington, DC. Sent to Fort Delaware on 17 June 1864. Paroled at Fort Delaware, Delaware, February 1865. Exchanged March 7, 1865.
