The rest of the War
He was wounded slightly, in the shoulder, on 4 May 1863 near Hamilton Crossing, VA. He was sick at Jackson Hospital, Richmond, VA in June 1864. He was captured in action at Winchester, Virginia, September 19, 1864. Paroled at Point Lookout, Maryland, and transferred to Aiken's Landing, Virginia for exchange March 15, 1865. Received at Boulware & Cox's Wharves, James River, Virginia for exchange, March 18, 1865.
