He mustered into Company C, 125th Pennsylvania Infantry on 11 August 1862.
On the Campaign
He was wounded in the thigh in action on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was treated at the Stone House Hospital, Sharpsburg, MD. He was discharged 6 April 1863 for wounds.
