The rest of the War
He was wounded again, at the Wilderness, Virginia on May 6, 1864, and his right foot was amputated. He retired to the Invalid Corps at Goldsboro, North Carolina on December 13, 1864.
After the War
He attended the St. Louis School of Physicians & Surgeons and was a doctor in Lincoln County, AR.
