On the Campaign

He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862 at Antietam.

The rest of the War

He transferred to Company K, 3rd New York Infantry on 6 May 1863, and was discharged 14 May 1863. He was probably naturalized as an American citizen in March 1863.

After the War

He was living in New York City in the 1880 US Census.
