He was killed in action on 17 September 1862 at Antietam.

Basic information from Jackman1. His older brother Asa B. Fisk enlisted with him in Company E, was wounded at 2nd Bull Run on 29 August 1862, and discharged for disability on 5 November 1862 at Alexandria, VA.
