On the Campaign

He was in action on South Mountain and at Antietam.

The rest of the War

He fought at Fredericksburg, VA on 13 December 1862. He was sent to the hospital on 3 March 1863 and discharged for disability on 14 July 1863 from the hospital at Pemberton Square, Boston.
