Basic information from Carruth1. A 33 year old resident of Newburyport, MA, he enrolled at Private, Company B, 35th Massachusetts Infantry, and mustered in August 1862. He was in action on South Mountain, where he was “injured”. He was discharged for disability on 12 February 1863. He was living in Newburyport in 1884.
