Before Sharpsburg
From Tuscany, he arrived in New York City in 1856 from the port of Leghorn, Italy with Mariana DePrado (later also in Company A, 5th Infantry). He mustered as Private, Company A, 5th Florida Infantry on 15 April 1862.
On the Campaign
He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862 Sharpsburg.
The rest of the War
Later a prisoner at Fort Delaware, and paroled on 9 June 1865.
After the War
He was living in Jefferson County at the 1870 Federal Census, and was alive at least to 1900.
