Present with his Company in action in most engagements at least to the siege of Petersburg in 1864, having been wounded in action at Chickamauga, GA on 18 or 19 September 1863.
After the War
After the death of his first wife he moved to near Waxahachie in Ellis County, TX. He married his second wife Joyce Ann Pruitt in 1881 in Navarro County, TX.
