He was with his Company on South Mountain and at Sharpsburg.

The rest of the War

He was in action from Fredericksburg, VA in December 1862 to Hog Mountain, AL in late 1863. He was then listed as a deserter.

After the War

He married in January 1865 in Jackson County, AL. He was a member of the Robert E. Lee Camp #158, Confederate Veterans, Fort Worth, TX by 1900.
