Before Antietam

On the Campaign
He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862 at Antietam.
The rest of the War
He was again wounded, in action at Beverly Ford (Brandy Station), VA in June 1863. He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 2 June 1865, and mustered out with his Company on 18 July 1865.
