On the Campaign

He was captured in action at Fox's Gap on 14 September 1862.

The rest of the War

Held at Fort Delaware, he was sent to Aikens Landing, VA and exchanged on 6 October 1862. He was listed as absent without leave in December 1862. He was ill in Jackson Hospital, Richmond in October 1864.

After the War

He moved to Arkansas after the War.
