Before Antietam

On the Campaign
He was wounded in the hand in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He mustered out at the end of his term on 28 August 1864.
After the War
Still working as a printer in Cambridge, he died of consumption (tuberculosis) at age 30 years, 7 months.
