On the Campaign

He was wounded in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He reenlisted on 1 January 1864, was detailed as a guard at the First Division, Ninth Corps Hospital on 10 May 1864, and mustered out with his Company on 27 July 1865.
