On the Campaign
He was wounded in action at on South Mountain on 14 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was treated at Locust Grove Hospital, Sharpsburg, and in Frederick, MD. He was discharged for promotion on 1 October 1862. He was later 2 Lt., 1 Lt., Captain, 10th Ohio Cavalry.
