On the Campaign

He was reported missing in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was appointed Sergeant 3 June 1863 and reenlisted on 30 December. He was captured in action near Petersburg, VA on 22 June 1864. He was released, date not given, and mustered out with his Company on 30 June 1865.
