He enlisted at Kickapoo, TX on 20 March 1862 in Company H, 1st Texas Infantry. He was sick in hospital in Richmond, VA May - July 1862.

On the Campaign

He was killed in action on 17 September 1862 at Sharpsburg.

Basic service data and the pointer to him thanks to Tom V.G. Nilsen. He's also listed as Antonio Anderson, but was born Anton Torgersen Noreødegaard. His brother Otto Anderson (born Otto Francke Torgersen Noreødegaard), 6th Texas Cavalry, was killed in action in Mississippi on 21 December 1862. His father Torger Anderson applied to the Confederate Government for any benefits due Anton on 8 January 1863 in Cherokee County, TX.
