On the Campaign
He was wounded in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was detached as a cattle guard from 22 September - 16 October 1862, and was discharged at Harpers Ferry, VA for disability from varicose ulcers on his legs on 13 April 1863.
