On the Campaign
He was wounded in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He never rejoined his company ad was presumed killed at Sharpsburg, but he is in Federal Provost Marshal records as being paroled at Greensboro, NC on 16 May 1865.
