He was wounded in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was treated at a hospital at Camp Winder, Richmond, VA and was back on duty by Juy 1863, when he served as an ambulance driver. He died, cause and place not given, between May and August 1864.
