Age 18, from Nashua, NH, he enlisted on 10 June 1862 and mustered as Private, Company B, 9th New Hampshire Infantry on 22 July.
On the Campaign
He was admitted to a US Army hospital in Frederick, MD on 25 September with typhoid fever and died there on 29 September 1862.
